Eagle Scouts help community

From Staff Reports

City property benefited from the hard work and dedication of several young men who selected the property as their Eagle Scout projects.

Tate Christensen performed his Eagle Scout project under Scoutmaster Jared Tarnasky of Pea Ridge with Pea Ridge Troop 293. Christensen worked at the City Park to earn his Eagle Scout Badge and reconstructed the landscaping at the entrance to the park.

Aden Christensen painted the original Pea Ridge Fire Station as part of his Eagle Scout project, completed under the direction of previous Scoutmaster Ryan Power with Pea Ridge Scout Troop 293.

Aden, 15, and Tate, 14, are the sons of Melanie and Dee Christensen; they attend Pea Ridge High School and Pea Ridge Middle School.

Hunter Hargiss built the stage at City Park in 2016 as his Eagle Scout Project.

Cameronn Power built fitness stations on the first half of the walking trail at Pea Ridge City Park as his Eagle Project.
