Young Blackhawk Jared Brewer clears a hurdle Monday during the home track meet for seventh-graders. Brewer took first in the boys 110-meter hurdle with a time of 17:71 and in the boys 300-meter hurdles with a time of 53:25.

Seventh-grade Lady Blackhawk Lauren Wright set a personal record when she cleared 8'6" in the pole vault Monday during the seventh-grade track meet hosted in Pea Ridge.

Patrick Elliot crossed the finish line in first place after flying over the last leg of the boys' 4x400 relay race Monday. Pea Ridge took first with a time of 53:59. Elliott took first in the boys 100-meter dash with a time of 11:61 and in the boys 200-meter hurdles with a time of 26:55.

Young Lady Blackhawks Lauren Wright and Alyssa Rickman prepare to begin a relay race Monday. Pea Ridge Lady Blackhawks won the girls' 4x800 Monday with team mates Josie Taylor, Madison Smith, Liz Vasquez and Lauren Wright running the relay in 12:30.

Seventh-grade Lady Blackhawks Riley Robbins and Alyssa Rickman were two of the athletes competing in the girls' hurdles Monday.
