Sausage-Bacon Breakfast Casserole

6 eggs, well beaten

1 small carton half and half

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. ground black pepper

1/2 green pepper, chopped

1 small onion, chopped

8 to 9 slices of bread

1 small roll sausage, cooked

1 pkg. bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

Mix well beaten eggs, cream, salt, black pepper, green pepper and onion in medium size mixing bowl; set aside. Spray a 9- by 13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Line bottom of dish with bread slices, trim slices to fit pan. Sprinkle bread with cooked sausage. Pour egg mixture over the sausage and bread. Sprinkle with bacon and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until eggs are set. Can be prepared the night before and refrigerated until time to bake.
