Butter Pecan Cookies

1 c. butter, softened
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. light molasses
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Powdered sugar, for rolling
In large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add molasses; mix until well blended. Combine flour and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in nuts. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. While the cookies are warm, roll in powdered sugar. Stores well.
