The Blackhawk boys cross country teams won first place in both junior and senior divisions at Prairie Grove this weekend. The previous week, the junior boys won second place at the Springdale meet, according to coach John King. Members of the senior high team include Nathan Spencer, senior; Joshua Rugger, junior; and Tyler Anderson, Shaed Cates, Cooper Elliott, Conner Escajeda, Will Feemster, Peyton Galbraith, Carson Rhine and Alex Wilkerson, sophomores. Members of the junior high team include Joe Adams, Joseph Peal and Gavin Stanely, seventh grade; William Jovel, Iain Mullikin, Marcus Nobles and Jorge Vasquez, eighth grade; and Jake Adams, Tyler Anderson, Lance Nunley, Matthew Peters,Kevin Vasquez, Brandon Whatley and Zach Woods, ninth grade.
Sophomores Will Feemster, Shaed Cates and Conner Escajeda all finished in top 10 at the Springdale meet, according to coach John King.
