Saturday, Oct. 1

12:19 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited a 17-year-old male and two 15-year-old males for violating the city curfew. The driver, 17, was also cited for no proof of insurance and imprudent driving.

3:33 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Shona Leann Mitchell, 41, Rogers, for felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and cited for speeding.

Sunday, Oct. 2

1:14 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police Benjamin Levi Biddinger, 21, Rogers, for DWI.

11 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Tevan Dominque Ortiz, 18, Pea Ridge, for felony possession of Sch. II purpose to deliver, possession of Sch. VI with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear from Benton County. The 17-year-old driver was cited for failing to signal and violation of curfew and released to his parent.

Monday, Oct. 3

7:40 a.m. Police took a report of a traffic accident that happened at Slack Street and Ross Salvage involving vehicles driven by Brittany R. Humes, 29, Cave Springs, and Jean Hugues Bitaa Meyne, 32, Fort Smith.

9 a.m. A resident of Hayden Road took two dogs to Pea Ridge police reporting they had been picked up on Hayden Road.

5:31 p.m. A resident of Lane Drive reported her 10-year-old son was bitten by a neighbor's dog earlier in the day. The owner of the dog paid for the child's medical care and voluntarily quarantined his dog at a veterinary clinic.

8 p.m. A resident of Hays Street reported his vehicle was broken into while parked on Slack Street and that a Sony CD player and a gold necklace missing.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

3:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Tyson Michael Vandagriff, 21, Westville, Okla., on a felony warrant from Rogers and cited him for driving on a suspended driver's license and cited Jordan A. Hollon, 21, Bella Vista, for allowing an unauthorized driver to driver her vehicle.

8:01 p.m. Police were dispatched to a parking lot on North Curtis Avenue for a private property accident involving vehicles driven by Cassie Taylor, 23, Rogers, and Sue Martin, 54, Pea Ridge. Martin was arrested for DWI and no proof of insurance.

8:10 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported harassment that happened on Weston Street at the intersection with Slack Street. He said a male had run towards him as he was driving east on Slack Street and appeared to throw something at him, screamed at him and attempted to provoke him.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

9:05 a.m. Police were notified of a threat made against a teacher/coach. The suspect was a 14-year-old female who used Twitter to message "clown squad" to come to Pea Ridge and beat the teacher. It wa discovered the student was angry at the teacher for catching her cheating. She was suspended from school; the incident was forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor.

8:53 p.m. Police received a dog found walking on North Davis Street. The dog was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Friday, Oct. 7

3:56 p.m. Police received a report of an aggressive animal; upon investigation, they found a black and tan male dog (Pit bull mix) running around the football field. The dog was friendly, police reported. It was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On Oct. 8, the dog's owner, Michael See, 38, Pea Ridge, retrieved the dog and was cited for dog at large.

Saturday, Oct. 8

10:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, for a dog bite. A 33-year-old resident of Greenwood Cove had been bitten by one of her two dogs. The dog did have up to date vaccination records.

Sunday, Oct. 9

7:20 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McRae Lane for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Kevina Hamilton, 36, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
