Granny's Quilts of Love
To date, Granny's Quilts of Love members have made 22,915 quilts, 6,668 caps and 6,574 pillows, of all which have been donated to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
For the regular meetin, the ladies enjoyed a special luncheon catered by member Marcia Graham and her husband, John. The luncheon was in recognition of a year's hard work making the quilts and for working the long hours preparing for the annual dinner and auction.
For the next meeting we will have a guest speaker, Nathan See, Street Department superintendent for the City of Pea Ridge.
The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 18, in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge. We will be cut batting. Please bring happy hearts, scissors and all finished quilts and batting trimmings.
