A ground breaking was held for Elkhorn Liquors, LLC, on Oct. 31. The store will be located at 16727 U.S. Hwy. 62, Garfield. Participating in the groundbreaking were, from left: Rusty Hudson, Charlie Pearce and Gary Eckel, and others who have been instrumental during the business inception process. Owners said they anticipate the business to open before mid-February. The group is very proud to be part of the growth of Garfield and northeast Benton County.
