Described as the most successful coach on the Blackhawks staff and "one of the most winningest coaches in northwest Arkansas," coach John E. King and his Blackhawks have 495 wins on their record.
"He's definitely the most successful coach in Pea Ridge history," said assistant coach Matt Easterling, who was on the team who won the runnerup for the state tournament in 1994, and won regional and district.
Easterling is now assistant coach to King for the baseball Blackhawks and both are assistant coaches for the football Blackhawks.
