Trespasser arrested for threatening, drugs

A man is in jail and numerous drugs and drug paraphernalia are in police evidence as a result of an investigation Monday evening.

Police were dispatched to a disturbance on Nemett Drive about 8 p.m. Monday. The homeowner said there there three men he did not know at his residence smoking marijuana. When the homeowner threatened to call police, the men left in a white Hyundai.

Drug paraphernalia included digital scales, grinder, mirror with white residue on it, small glass containers, a glass pipe, a pill, roach, hitter and glass container with white substance in it.

At 10:42 p.m., police were again dispatched to the house on Nemett Drive for people in the house. At that time, more drugs and paraphernalia was found including plastic baggie with green leafy substance, baggies, glass bong, glass pipes.

The homeowner said he had rented the house to someone who he was evicting, but none of the people he encountered at the house were the renter. He told police that he began cleaning out the house and had made a trip to a storage unit and found a male and female in the house upon his return. He told police that the man "started cussing ... pushing ... spitting" on him and that he threatened to kill him.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested Trevor Drew-Allen Pitts, 20, Elkins, by Pea Ridge for felony first-degree terrorist threatening, obstructing governmental operations, minor in possession, third degree assault and on a Rogers contempt warrant for failing to pay fines for possession of drug paraphernalia.
