Easter Events

Saturday, March 19

• 10 a.m.: Easter egg hunt, Brightwater United Methodist Church, U.S. Hwy. 62.

• Noon: Annual Beta Alpha of ESA Easter Egg Hunt: Treat bags for everybody. Prizes for every age group. Ages: 0-1, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10. Rain Date: Saturday, March 26. Take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Registration begins at 11 a.m. for annual Beta Alpha of ESA Easter Egg Hunt.

Saturday, March 26

• 9:30-11:30 a.m.: Easter celebration: devotional, crafts, food and egg hunt; New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 19200 Gann Ridge Road, Garfield.

• 10 a.m.-noon: Garfield community Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by First Baptist Church, Garfield, on the grounds of NEBCO station, U.S. Hwy. 62. Egg hunt, snacks, prizes, Easter bunny and entertainment are provided.

• 11 a.m.: Easter egg hunt sponsored by The Ridge Community Church, Blackhawk Stadium, for children from birth to 12 years of age. There will be 10,000 eggs on the field. Registration begins at 10 a.m.; the hunt at 11 a.m. There will be bounce houses, games, candy and lots of fun.

Sunday, March 27

• 6 a.m.: Sonrise service and breakfast, First Baptist Church, Garfield, U.S. Hwy. 62. 9:15 a.m. Sunday school; and 10:30 a.m. morning service.

• 8:30 a.m.: "Son"-Risen breakfast Pea Ridge Nazarene Church; Slack Street; 10 a.m. Easter service; Easter egg hunt following service for children through sixth grade.

• 9:30 a.m.: Easter Sunday worship service; 11 a.m. Easter egg hunt, First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge. Community invited.
