Greetings Pea Ridge residents! I know that we are all getting excited for the upcoming Fourth of July celebration, the Pea Ridge Library has some great events planned for after the Independence Day holiday.

On July 7th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the library will host a still life drawing class for children ages 5 to 10. There is limited seating available so please stop by and sign your child up. Our very own Noelle Webb from the Pea Ridge School District has graciously volunteered to teach this class.

Library hours

Monday-Thursday: 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Be on the lookout for more events to participate in soon. Such as an adult coloring and coffee hour, story time with the Mayor, Police Chief and officers, along with book club meetings for our youth.

Just a reminder -- our gorgeous community room is now available for rental. We would love to have you stop by anytime to check out the space for future use. Details on renting the community room for the day can be picked up at the library during business hours.

The library still really needs children's book donations to hand out at the Back to School Bash. PLEASE clean out those shelves and come by the library. Our booth will be handing out new and gently used books to help the children in our district prepare for the new school year to begin. We will offer library card sign-ups for families who bring proof of address and driver's license.

I am very excited to be a part of this of this event!
