Monday, June 13

3:10 p.m. A resident of Chitwood Street turned in a small dog found on Curtis Street. The dog had an Oak View Animal Clinic rabies tag and a city tag identifying the owner as Christopher Michael Rust, 38, Pea Ridge. Rust was cited for dog at large.

5:10 p.m. A resident of Barnes Circle reported a suspicious charge on his debit card from a store in Harrison.

6:10 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported someone entered his home and stole a bottle of oxycodone.

11:50 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on St. Clair Street for a disturbance in progress. Two men admitted they had been arguing but they had not fought physically.

Tuesday, June 14

7:05 a.m. A resident of O.D. Bancroft reported her vehicle being broken into. A computer and case and makeup bag were reported missing. On June 14, police found a computer in a trash can in the Givens subdivision. It was determined the computer stolen was the one found in the trash can.

9:15 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Harvey Wakefield for a theft report involving the theft of a cell phone from an unlocked vehicle.

1:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on W.M.B. Franklin for a theft involving $650 stolen from a vehicle; surveillance video shows two suspects.

1:45 p.m. Police took Sheldon Burkett, 26, Pea Ridge, and William Junior, 42, Rogers, to jail on court commits as ordered by Judge Ray Bunch.

11:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a physical disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police obtained a warrant for arrest of the suspect.

11:27 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Mary Phelps Drive for a vehicle fire that spread to the garage roof and door. The fire was extinguished by Pea Ridge firefighters. Police said they found no evidence of arson or foul play.
