School Board member Jenny Wood will serve another five years. The one vacancy on the Pea Ridge School Board is uncontested. Wood's seat was up for election this year. Wood, who has served two five-year terms, filed for re-election.
The Board is comprised of five positions with each member serving a five-year term, thereby opening one seat per year. Board members in addition to Wood and the year their term expires are Sandy Button, 2017; Jeff Neil, 2018; John Dye, 2019; and Ryan Heckman, 2020.
School board elections are scheduled for Sept. 20.
