Freedom Fest Car Show a success

The 10 annual Freedom Fest held Saturday, July 2, in Pea Ridge City Park was a success.

There were 120 entries from several states. There were separate classes for original and modified cars and trucks. Categories and winners were:

Cars

• 1900-1949 -- Burley Gayer, Little Flock, 1937 Chevy Coupe

• 1950-1969 -- Kenny Horn, Mansfield, 1966 Chevy Chevelle

• 1970-1989 -- Mark and Sharon Diamond, Rogers, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

• 1990-2004 -- Shawn Monk, Bentonville, 1991 Pontiac Tojar

• 2005-present -- Henry Washington, Cave Springs 2015 Ford Mustang GT

Trucks

• 1900-1949 -- Bob Munro, Bentonville, 1915 C-Cab Ford

• 1950-1972 -- Jim Underwood, Garfield, 1967 Chevy C10

• 1973-1989 -- Rick Faler, Pea Ridge, 1976 Ford Ranchero
