Blackhawks beat Pioneers

Pea Ridge moves to 2-0 in conference play with a 71-65 win over Gentry. "It was a sloppy effort on both sides of the ball," coach Trent Loyd said. "Defensively we have to get better and get some of our chemistry back. Our identity as a team is on the defensive side. We have to stay true to that and focus more while defending. A win is a win and we are excited about getting the road victory, but know we have a lot to work on still." Blackhawk scorers were Matt Thomas, 39; Joey Hall, 12; Logan Johnson, 7; Kobe Rose, 6; and Cole Wright, 5.
