Sunday, Nov. 27

12:17 a.m. As a result of a routine traffic stop, police arrested Virgil W Sneed, 51, Pea Ridge, for possession of Sch I or II and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday, Nov. 28

1:02 a.m. Police came into contact with a vehicle parked in the abandoned parking lot to Marvin's IGA grocery. After investigation, the people inside the vehicle were verified as homeless. The officer helped the family find shelter.

8:30 a.m. Police investigated reports from students of an abandoned house on Weston Street containing a large amount of ammunition and firearm equipment. After investigating, police secured the front and back entrances and notified the owner to better secure the property.

8:40 a.m. Police performed a warrant arrest for David Chasten, 25, Rogers, for contempt to pay fines and costs on driving on a suspended license.

10 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lynn Drive in reference to a fraud call.

6 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Todd Circle in reference to a phone that was not returned after a resident moved from the address. The phone was later returned without incident.

7:46 p.m. Adam Howard, 28, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

9:22 a.m. Police were called to investigate three male students for suspicion of being under the influence of an unknown substance. The officer investigated and determined the students displayed no signs of current intoxication of any substances based on his training.

9:30 a.m. In court, police arrested Lisa Thomas, 43, Pea Ridge, for contempt to pay fines and costs on theft of property.

3:14 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Cody J. Yountz, 25, Pea Ridge, on a warrant out of Benton County for failure to appear on possession charges. Yountz was taken into custody and transported to Benton County Jail.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

12:30 a.m. Melanie E. Harvey, 30, Springdale, was arrested for failure to pay fines and costs and failure to appear.

8:02 a.m. Sheldon D. Burkett, 27, Pea Ridge, was issued a citation for dog at large.

9:25 a.m. Michael A. Lozano, 28, Bentonville, was served a warrant for failure to appear and failure to register.

12:30 p.m. Jacob C. Harness, 30, Bentonville, was served a warrant for failure to pay time pay on original charges of driving on suspended or revoked drivers license, contempt failure to pay fines and costs and speeding.

Thursday, Dec. 1

9:39 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Harvey Wakefield Avenue to a possible delayed domestic disturbance. After investigating, police explained that to both parties that they could not make either party leave the residence. There were no signs of physical injuries on either party.

10:21 p.m. Police arrested Tabatha A. Abercrombie, 28, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication and on a warrant for failure to pay fines out of Johnson Police Department.

Friday, Dec. 2

10:30 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Slack Street in reference to criminal mischief. An informational report was compiled for a vehicle backing into a gate, knocking it off the hinge.

10:50 a.m. A black male terrier mix dog was found in the middle of It'll Do and Hazleton roads and taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
