The Pea Ridge FFA Chapter held its annual Parent Member Night on Monday, Nov. 21. The Chapter handed out three degrees which were the Discovery Degree, Greenhand Degree and the Chapter Degree.
The Discovery Degree is handed out the middle school FFA members based on FFA membership and knowledge.
The Greenhand Degree is eligible to high school, first year members with a satisfactory Supervised Agricultural Experience.
The FFA Chapter Degree is awarded to the FFA's top members who receive the necessary requirements. In total, 43 members accepted one of these degrees. The Pea Ridge FFA Chapter also had Christopher Connolley, who won the Creed Speaking Competition at the U of A Leadership Competition, say the FFA Creed as well as Will Clark the former 2015-2016 State Secretary share an inspirational story at the end of the meeting.
