JANE, Mo. -- A Pea Ridge man was injured in an accident north of the stateline recently. William B. Cadwell, 50, of Pea Ridge was involved in an accident at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13. While travelling north on Route KK, 10 miles east of Jane, an unknown vehicle pulled from a private drive into the path Caldwell's 2003 Yamaha Roadstar.
He laid the motorcycle over to avoid collision. He sustained moderate damage to the vehicle. Caldwell was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark., with moderate injuries. Reports indicate that he was wearing a safety device.
The unknown vehicle left the scene before being identified.
