Boil order issued

A boil order has been issued for everybody on Pea Ridge water south of Sugar Creek bridge, including residents of Tucks Crossing and Brush Creek, according to officials with the Pea Ridge Water Department. The precautionary boil water order is due to a loss of pressure caused by an equipment malfunction in a meter vault.

The state Health Department requires three clean water samples before the boil order is lifted, according to Water Dept. officials. This will be a minimum of three days.

Residents will be notified when the order is lifted.
