Monday, July 25

12:30 p.m. Police received a Kia key fob that was found outside the Pea Ridge Post Office.

10:22 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Colby Ammons, 22, Bentonville, for possession of a controlled substance, driving on suspended, no proof of insurance and fictitious tags.

Tuesday, July 26

9 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Joshua D. Clinton, 39, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver's license. He was booked into the Benton County Jail.

10:56 a.m. A resident of Lee Town Road reported her phone missing from her purse.

1:45 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Derrick A. McGuire, 25, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver's license. He was booked into the Benton County Jail.

2 p.m. Police booked Hillrie Romero, 44, Rogers, and Jericho B. Lambert, 21, Pea Ridge, into the Benton County Jail on court commits.

10:49 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Ryan Road for a report of a male in the yard of a residence, bleeding and asking for help. The male, Johnathan Balch, 26, Pea Ridge, had apparently been involved in a one-vehicle accident on Ryan Road and said his friend was still trapped. The passenger, James Kemp, 29, Springdale, was found walking along Ryan Road. He was not injured. Balch was taken to Mercy Medical Center and was later transported to Mercy Medical in Springfield. As a result of the investigation, Balch was cited for careless and prohibited driving, no driver's license, no proof of insurance and no vehicle license.

Wednesday, July 27

12:05 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on D.J. Duvall for a disturbance.

4:32 p.m. Police were dispatched to White Oak gas station for a shoplifting. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Bobby Dewayne DeShields, 29, Pea Ridge, for shoplifting and public intoxication and on warrants from Rogers for contempt failure to pay and contempt of court failure to comply with court orders; and Bentonville warrants for failure to appear, failure to comply, and seven failure to appear warrants.

Thursday, July 28

8:05 p.m. Police picked up a stray dog on Hayden Road. the female black lab mix was placed into the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Friday, July 29

8:50 p.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborhood Market for a report of theft. As a result of the investigation, police cited Rhonda Sue Johnson, 47, Gateway, for theft of property.

10:32 p.m. As a result of an investigation into a theft at Walmart Neighborhood Market, police cited Nowetta Fernandez, 34, Rogers, for theft of property.

Sunday, July 31

9:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Shepherd Street and Grace Court for a vehicle fire involving a 1999 Dodge Stratus with flames coming out from beneath the hood. The driver was Destini Hicks, 18, Bella Vista. She was not injured.
