Ray and Judy Henson of Garfield will celebrate their 50th anniversary on April 21, 2016. They married in 1966 at the bride's home.
Mrs. Henson is the daughter of the late Boyd and Margie Snoderly. She retired from Pel-Freez.
Mr. Henson is the son of the late Harvey and Leona Henson. He retired from Kennametal.
The couple have five children, Carla Henson of Garfield, Derek Henson and wife Nancy of Avoca, Darin Henson and wife Dawnitta of Pea Ridge, Cheryl David and husband Stephen of Pea Ridge, and Michael Henson and wife Justa of Avoca; and six grandchildren, Jamie Fields and husband Gabe of Centerton, Kevin Carlson and wife Sarah of Houston, Nicole Henson, Ashley Henson and Meghan David, all of Pea Ridge, and Olivia Henson of Avoca.
Judy Henson enjoys embroidering tea towels, mowing the yard, helping load wood and solving word searches. Ray Henson enjoys cutting wood, working in the hayfield, reading Western novels and solving Sudoku puzzles.
