Story Hour meets Wednesdays

Someone asked me recently how long we had been in our current location. Three years ago we made the move but honestly at times it seems as if it were last week and other times it seems like this has always been our home. I guess we will officially be "settled" with the completion of the Multi-Purpose Room. Everything appears to be on track and soon we will be shopping for a refrigerator, tables, chairs, window coverings, etc. We are looking forward to holding the summer reading program party in the multi-purpose room.

The Story/Craft Hour continues at 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday. We are looking forward to an attendance increase during the summer. The kids seem to be enjoying the stories and crafts presented by Ms. Jacki.

The library received a donation of several Christian fiction books last week. Another donation added four books to the Tales of Grace Chapel Inn series. There are more than 45 books in this very popular series. By the time you read this article, all these books will be ready for check-out.

Here is an idea for a fun activity with your children: The Bentonville Youth Literature Festival, sponsored by the Bentonville Public Library and the Bentonville Library Association, will be held Saturday, April 23. There will be presentations by Authors & Illustrators, Book Sales & Signings, Library Art Activities with special sessions planned for Teens, Teachers, Adults and Homeschoolers. All events are free and open to the public. No registration necessary. More information can be found on the Bentonville Library web site.
