GENTRY -- Blackhawks rushed by Gentry Thursday night. Carson Rhine scored twice and Samuel Beard had a rushing touchdown.
The game started off by Rhine running back the opening kick off to the 5 and Beard punching it in two plays later. The following kickoff, Louis Reyes dropped one in the hole and Beard recovered. This leads to another Blackhawk touchdown this one by Rhine, making it 12-0.
"Gentry played us tough and scored in the second half," coach Cody Alexander said. "Our defense played great all night and did what they where coached to do. Adam Trammell had a great game at the line backer spot for us."
Final was Blackhawks 20/Gentry Pioneers 8.
