Weekly senior luncheon
GARFIELD -- All seniors are invited to attend a weekly Thursday luncheon at 11:30 a.m held at Brightwater United Methodist Church, 14108 E. U.S. Hwy. 62. Food is prepared at the Bentonville Senior Center and brought to the church. The cost is $3. Call 479-359-3772 for reservations no later than Wednesday. You do not have to be a member of the church nor attend any church to be served. All are welcome.
Supper and pie
auction slated
The annual "Ham & Bean Supper and Pie Auction" by the PRHS Alumni Association is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, in the Pea Ridge Middle School Cafeteria. Serving for supper is 5 - 7 p.m. The Pie Auction will start at 6 p.m.
Each fall since the 2007 beginnings of the Alumni Association, the popular "Ham & Bean Dinner with Pie Auction" has helped to raise funds for the Alumni Scholarship Program. At graduation time this past spring, nine $1,000 scholarships were awarded to 2015 PRHS graduates. Everyone's help is appreciated in making possible the growth of the Alumni Scholarship Program.
