FARMINGTON -- Seventh-grade Blackhawks lost 24-8 at Farmington Thursday.

Farmington built a 24-0 lead before the Blackhawks got on the scoreboard. Cory Thomas and Tate Sutton scored on running plays in the first half with Sutton passing to Avery Wesley for a pair of 2-point conversions. In the second half Sutton ran behind right guard for a 1-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal, then threw to Terrion Swift to add 2-points to the score and the Cardinals led, 24-0.

"We ran it inside. They gave us a look we liked and we took advantage of it," said Farmington coach Spencer Adams.

Cole Brown scored all of Pea Ridge's points with a 5-yard touchdown run up the middle with 5:57 left in the game. He added a 2-point conversion run.
