Jenn Spivey, registrar, has worked at Pea Ridge schools for three years. "I choose to work with children because it's the most effective and enjoyable way to change the world," Spivey said.

She has two sons. Hobbies are crafting and spending time with her family. Spivey said she was adopted.

Sheri Trevathan, administrative assistant, has worked at Pea Ridge schools for 20 years.

"I enjoy being around children and watching them grow. I love watching the smiles on their faces! If I can make a positive difference in a child's life, then I have done my job."

Trevathan's hobbies include spending time with her family, watching the Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals.

She was all-district and all-county in basketball and was homecoming queen her senior year.

Mindy Bowlin, master teacher/ ESOL teacher, has been in education for 12 years, eight at Pea Ridge.

"I love to help children grow and reach their full potential," she said.

She has two children and likes to spend time with her family and crafts.

She played softball for four years at University of Central Arkansas.

Janine Dove, nurse aide, has been in the schools for 15 years. She said she likes to help children. She has two grown children. Her hobbies include gardening and arts and crafts. When she was in high school, she clogged.

Auxilliary teachers

Andrea Ricketts, PE teacher for kindergarten through fifth grade, has been in education for 31 years, all of those at Pea Ridge.

"It's fun to watch kids learn something new for the first time," she said.

The mother of two children and three grandchildren, Ricketts likes to read and spend time with her pets. She said she was a band and choir director the first year she taught and was a piano major before she was a PE major.

Rebecca Allen, media specialist, has been in education for 12 years and at Pea Ridge for seven.

"I have a passion to see kids learn new things and explore through books and new technology.

She has two sons and one daughter. She enjoys photography and spending time with her family.

Mindy Hanna, counselor, is a former second grade teacher. She has been at Pea Ridge schools for eight years.

"To make a difference in the lives of our children; a smile and a hug can change a child's day," she said. She has one child. She enjoys family time, painting, reading, crafting and art.
