Turkey Shoot successful

GARFIELD -- Several hundred people attemped the 22nd annual NEBCO Turkey Shoot sponsored by the Northeast Benton County Volunteer Fire/EMS Department Saturday.

A new feature was an outdoor sports expo with booths and demonstrations from numerous vendors displaying hunting and camping gear.

There were 400 rib lunches served, 300 shooters in the shotgun shoot, 100 shooters in the poker shoot and 111 rounds of skeet shot.

Vendors and exhibitors included Ozark Mountain Trading Company, Arkansas Department of Forestry, Mercy Lifeshield, Air Methods, Beaver Lake Corps of Engineers, Pea Ridge National Military Park, Beaver Watershed Alliance, Flying RF Feed & Farm Supply, Benton County Department of Emergency Management, Indian Creek Wood Works, Preppers Bee Supply, The Huntin' Grounds, Wood-N-Needles, GDG Artisan Bird & Bat Houses, Hicklife Arkansas, Daisy Outdoor Products,Garfield Schools PTO and Arkansas Game & Fish.
