One dead, four injured

GARFIELD -- A Missouri woman was killed and four people, three of whom were children, were injured in a wreck late Wednesday night on U.S. Highway 62 and Boundary Line Road near Pea Ridge National Military Park.

Angel D. Worsham, 33, of Seligman, Mo., died as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck, which was reported at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report. The children, a 2-year-old female, 4-year-old female and 12-year-old male, were injured and taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville, according to the report. The children and Jeremy Worsham, 38, of Seligman, were passengers in the eastbound 2001 Saturn driven by Mrs. Worsham.

Destiney Doebele, 21, of Rogers, driving a 2011 Chevy Malibu, was northbound on Boundary Line Road and attempted a left-hand turn heading west onto U.S. Hwy. 62 when the front of the Saturn collided with the left side of the Malibu. Both vehicles came to a final position in the westbound lanes of U.S. 62, according to the report.

Doebele was injured and taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville.
