Granny's Quilts of Love
At the last meeting State Representative Sue Scott stopped by to visit. She talked about her experience volunteering at the Arkansas Children's Hospital and she saw some of the quilts in use.
The total number of quilts made and donated to ACH is 20,888, pillows 5,477 and caps 4,815. Club members cut 160 quilt kits at the last meeting.
The Christmas brunch is at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 8 at Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd. Members are requested to bring an inexpensive gift ($5 to $10) for the Santa game. RSVP to Elda Wenzel by Dec. 2, 479-855-6903.
The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 17 in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge.
