Monday, April 27

3:30 p.m. Police cited Karlos Ramirez, 35, Pea Ridge, for an illegal burn.

3:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of West Patton Street for a stray dog. The small pug, which did not have a collar, was caught and secured in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. When the owner, Sherry Finn, 38, Pea Ridge, picked up the dog, she was issued a citation for dog at large.

3:30 p.m. Police caught a black lab which does not have a collar. The dog, found on West Patton Street, was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. on April 28, the owner, Wilson Montondo, 23, Pea Ridge, picked up the dog and was cited for dog at large and no rabies vaccination.

6:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a missing 10-year-old boy. The boy was located about two miles away; he was returned to his parent.

7:45 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Clark Street for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police cited Michael Bresler, 48, Rogers, for third-degree battery and Joshua Presley, 36, Pea Ridge, for third-degree battery and second-degree terroristic threatening.

Tuesday, April 28

2 p.m. While at court, police arrested Tony Davis, 27, Rogers, on a absconder warrant out of Missouri. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

2:10 p.m. As a result of checking a residence on Hutchinson Street, police arrested Christopher Story, 29, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery and interfering with emergency communications.

Wednesday, April 29

5:56 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest Road reported the theft of a jar of change.

8:51 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported that a 12-year-old boy approached him at McDonalds and asked him to pawn an item, then paid him for doing it. Later, a 17-year-old female approached him, threatened him and took his hat. Police located the suspect and retrieved the hat.

Thursday, April 30

9:40 a.m. Police picked up a tan shepherd-type dog with no collar and placed it in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. Later that afternoon, the dog's owner picked up the dog and was cited for dog at large.

Friday, May 1

7:49 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Pike Street for a disturbance. Police spoke to both parties, who agreed to work out their problem.

8:31 p.m. Police were dispatched to a possible disturbance on Weston Street near the high school. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that there was not a disturbance, but people yelling at a dog that had attacked a cat.

Saturday, May 2

11:30 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Rickey K. Williams, 18, Decatur, for two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for speeding and failure to register the vehicle. He was booked into the Benton County Jail.

4:30 p.m. Police attempted to stop a juvenile male who was riding a dirt bike. The youth fled and a pursuit ensued. He was taken to Northwest Medical by Pea Ridge ambulance personnel. The 16-year-old male was released to his parents and issued three citations, one of which was for fleeing. The youth did not have an operator's license or motorcycle endorsement, there was no insurance on the vehicle and the vehicle was not a street-legal vehicle, according to the police report.

Sunday, May 3

10:30 a.m. Police were dispatched to McDonalds for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Mitchell D. Cox, 31, Rogers, for public intoxication.

7 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Greenwood Cove for a possible suicidal subject. Police were unable to locate the suspect and issued a BOLO for the vehicle believed to be used by the suspect. About 10:45 p.m., a BCSO deputy located the suspect in the Prairie Creek day use parking lot. Due to her taking a large number of prescription medications, she was transported to the hospital.
