A.D.: The Trials and Triumph of the Early Church

NBC (KNWA is the NBC affiliate)

"It starts with Easter and covers the first 10 chapters of book of Acts," Edwin Brewer, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, Pea Ridge, said. "We're were doing, we're going to preach on the subject they're going to watch. I think that's really cool."

"There's a really dynamic Christian TV series coming on, my guess I that while you're watching it, there will be questions you'll have," Brewer said. "You can come to our church on Sunday mornings and get those questions answered. The whole sermon series is designed to clarify some one thing people might have questions about."

Brewer said he has the study guide for the movie and he hopes to answer any questions people may have because of the show. He said people had questions after watching the Bible series and he believes there will be questions arise from this as well.

"Get your questions answered here," he said, of the sermons and TV show.

The topics are:

1. Easter Sunday, the grave robber

2. Reality of he resurrection

3. Work of the holy spirit

4. Stand

5. You can't stop the unstoppable

6. The pebble plan

7. The dragon dilemma

8. Undeniable, what even skeptics believe

9. The significance of nobody

10. The Barnabas factor; when an enemy needs a friend

11. Too hot to handle

12. The first roman pygmie

"The church services, the sermons, are open to anybody," Brewer said, explaining that it is not just for members of the church and it is not specific to a denomination.

The Assembly of God Church is located at 577 Weston Street. Worship time is 10:45 a.m. Sundays.
