New Meadowbrook EH Club
The members of the New Meadowbrook Extension Homemaker's Club met March 11 for their regular monthly meeting at the First Baptist Church in Garfield. The meeting was brought to order by president Karen Launderville, and Rheta Van Doren read God's Alphabet and Christians by Maya Angelou. The minutes were read by Secretary Ione Kauffeld, and Rheta gave the treasurer's report.
Members discussed the club's project and after the meeting in April members will work at putting the project book together, and also there will discuss ideas of a new project for this next year.
Launderville had a very interesting lesson on Waste Management and Recycling and members had a quiz of "What do you know about Waste!"
Announcement of a Plant Sale and Flea Market at the First Methodist Church in Centerton on April 25.
Next month election of officers will be held.
