Monday, March 2

8:47 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hallack Lane for a disturbance in which a 14-year-old male refused to go to school, broke items in his room and then ran into the woods. The youth was found, talked to and returned to his family.

Tuesday, March 3

2 p.m. Police were advised of a large dog running around Blair Circle. The dog, a male Mastiff, was wearing a collar with tags. It was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. Jennifer Behrens, 30, Pea Ridge, the owner, was found and cited for dog at large.

3:52 p.m. A resident of Richard Street reported suspicious activity involving persons who were driving a maroon Suburban approached a youth and questioned him.

4 p.m. A resident of an apartment on Wade Lane reported money missing.

Wednesday, March 4

9:45 a.m. Police impounded a medium-size dog wearing a red collar that had been found in Windmill Estates.

Wednesday, March 5

12:55 p.m. Police received a report from Rogers Police Department of a Pea Ridge resident who was a suspect in a gas drive off. As a result of the investigation, police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Allen Hoskins, 54, Pea Ridge. Hoskins was cited for driving on a suspended driver's license; he was advised to contact Rogers about the gas drive off. The passenger, Brent Humphries, 29, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Benton County for drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant out of Springdale for theft. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.

6:25 p.m. A resident of Halleck Lane reported possible fraud involving a phone call threatening arrest and claiming she owed money to the government.

7:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Hazelton and It'll Do roads for a motor-vehicle crash. Police found a 2008 Nissan Titan pickup that had hit a tree. Three males, one 16- and two 17-years-of-age, were in the vehicle. According to police, the evidence indicated that all three hit the windshield on impact. Two beer cans were found, one in the driver's door and another on the ground. The results of the portable breathalyzer test on all three was 0.0. Although the driver claimed he swerved to avoid hitting a dog, there were no dog prints found in the snow, according to the report.

Friday, March 6

5:20 p.m. A resident of D.J. Duvall Street reported a dog had followed her son home from school and she couldn't find the owner. The brindle pit bull had apparently recently had puppies. She did not have a collar.

7:55 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jeffrey D. Kathman, 58, Rogers, for DWI (second offense), refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test (second offense), careless driving and no proof of insurance.

Saturday, March 7

1:20 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported someone had thrown eggs at a vehicle parked on the street at his home.

10:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hallack Lane for a disturbance. One of the persons involved in the argument agreed to leave the residence.

Sunday, March 8

6:27 p.m. A resident of Standing Oaks subdivision reported a man and woman had been at her house and had been "pushy." She said they drove a maroon Suburban. As a result of the investigation, police learned that someone who does not have a city business permit had been contacting residents in the city.
