Single Mother's Ministry at Cross Roads Baptist Church of Pea Ridge is taking nominations.
We can all agree that being a parent is hard work.
Being a single mother is even harder! With having a job, taking the children to their games or practices, helping with home work, or that never ending list of work that needs to be done around the house that seems to be growing, it's hard to find time to stop and relax.
Members of Cross Roads Baptist Church of Pea Ridge would like to help single mothers in the Pea Ridge, Avoca and Garfield areas.
Do you know a single mom who might need a few things fixed around the house? How about a babysitter so she can have a night out with the girls or maybe a nice day of getting pampered? If so, e-mail me their name and information with a message about them and what we can do to help them at [email protected].
All nominations need to be received by April 11. By April 18, we will contact the three ladies we have chosen and let them know how God will let is bless them with these gifts from God. They can also tell us which of the last three weekends in May will work best for them.
We would like to do something for all the single moms out there but sadly we do not have the resources.
