The 153rd anniversary of the Battle of Pea Ridge will be commemorated this weekend -- Saturday, March 7 -- with living history events at Elkhorn Tavern.
Historians will present infantry and artillery programs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The schedule was not available at press time. It will be available on the Pea Ridge National Military Park web site www.nps.gov/peri.
Entrance fees are $5 per person (see details below), good for seven days; $5 per motorcycle, good for seven days; $10 per vehicle, good for seven days; and $20 per family, annual pass.
