Two people are running unopposed for two seats on the Pea Ridge School Board.
Jeff Neil filed for the seat to which he was appointed. That seat expires in 2018.
Ryan Heckman filed for the seat vacated by Ann Cato whose position was to expire this year. She resigned June 25 because she moved out of district.
Neither candidate faces opposition.
Heckman was approved to be appointed to the board for August on a unanimous vote of the three board members present Monday night at the regular School Board meeting.
There are five seats on the Pea Ridge School Board. Each board member serves a five-year term. One seat becomes available every year.
School elections are scheduled for Sept. 15.
