Congratulations to all these youngsters who have included reading as part of their summer fun. Hope to see all of you again next summer.

We have had many large donations in our book drop, and while we are thankful for your support, we would appreciate it if you would make your large donations inside when the library is open. When you come in to donate your gently used items, we can give you a receipt for you to fill out for your taxes. Large donations are considered as three or more bags worth.

We have had some "new to us" non-fiction books donated recently and they are processed and ready to be enjoyed. We also have a few '"new release" fiction books ready to be checked out. Both can be found on our New Shelf. There is a fresh supply of books in our Free section and on our For Sale tables.

Work on the building beside us has sparked many questions, most of which are "What is going in beside you?" and "Are you expanding to next door?" In answer to both of those questions, they have been getting ready for the new dentists to move in! It has been very exciting watching all of the progress and awaiting our new neighbors.

The library staff has been diligently working on processing items so that they can get back on the shelves as quickly as possible. You may have noticed that the authors have moved a shelf or two but we will direct you if you need any help. They will still be arranged by the author's last name.
