Newly-elected Pea Ridge Fire Chief Sam Spivey was stung severely enough by bees to require medical attention Saturday, a horse was stung nearly to death, and bee stings also injured at least one other person when Pea Ridge firemen tried to save the horse on which the bees had swarmed.
