It involves moving 360,000 yards of earth.

The TIMES of Northeast Benton County

School superintendent Mike Van Dyke reported that the $1.55 million in bonds the school authorized recently were all second-lien bonds. Second-lien bonds are similar to a second mortgage on a home and work well for growing districts like Pea Ridge. They allow the district to raise funds without raising taxes. The bonds are to be repaid as assessments increase for the district and can be paid out over 30 years.
