Monday, Jan. 12

10:07 a.m. As an agency assist and the result of a BOLO (be on the lookout for) from Rogers Police, Pea Ridge Police conducted a traffic stop on a white GMC Sierra driven by Phillip Darner, 35, Rogers, and arrested Darner on a Rogers' warrant. Darner was taken to the Benton County Jail.

5:10 p.m. Police provided extra patrol on the old Blackhawk football stadium, private property, after the owner reported trespassing. Doors to buildings were found open and were locked. No damage was found.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

11 p.m. During patrol, police found a door open to the former football stadium and graffiti on the walls of the utility building. The door had been forced open and the doorknob was damaged. The property owner was notified and evidence collected.

Wednesday, Jan. 14

2:04 p.m. A resident of East Pickens Road reported a Stihl chainsaw missing from her yard.

Thursday, Jan. 15

4:53 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Charles Street where a female had reportedly taken "tramadol and vodka" and was sitting in a vehicle. The vehicle was running, keys were in the ignition, according to the police report. The driver was taken to a hospital emergency room. As a result of the investigation, police cited Sydney L. Montondo, 41, Pea Ridge, for DWI (actual control of a vehicle).

5:30 p.m. A resident of Washburn, Mo., took a small dog to the police station that he said he found at the City Park. The dog, that did not have a collar or tags, was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Friday, Jan. 16

11:28 p.m. A resident of Greenwood Cove reported that young people had trespassed into his backyard and then were heading into the Carroll Electric construction site. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

Saturday, Jan. 17

7:32 p.m. Police were dispatched to Dollar General for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. The victim, a resident of Springdale, reported that someone had sliced his rear passenger tire while it was parked at Pea Ridge Middle School.

Sunday, Jan. 18

12:40 p.m. A resident of Rogers reported to police that she found an 8-year-old walking along Arkansas Highway 94 in Little Flock and gave him a ride to the Pea Ridge Police Station. The boy reported he had been home alone and got scared and decided to walk to his mother's place of employment. Police contacted the mother and the child was returned to her.

5 p.m. Police were dispatched to the parking lot at Neighborhood Market for a private property accident involving a vehicle driven by Alexander Roberts, 18, Pea Ridge. Roberts told police he was "blinded by the setting sun" and hit a pole. He declined ambulance transport.

11:13 p.m. A man, who wished to remain anonymous, turned in a backpack that he reportedly found on Arkansas Highway 94 at Don McAllister Road north of town. The backpack comtained a young girl's clothes and sex paraphernalia.

Monday, Jan. 19

12:13 a.m. A resident of Weston Street reported a burglary in progress. The resident reported she had been asleep when she was awakened by someone coughing outside her bedroom door. Police did not find a suspect nor any sign of forced entry.
