Monday, Feb. 16

11:11 a.m. Police were dispatched to meet a city resident who reported he found dogs by Big Sugar Golf Course. He reported one dog (a German shepherd) had been struck and killed and the other two were staying near it. Police picked up two dogs -- a yellow lab and an unknown brown patched medium to large dog -- and took them to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

5:35 p.m. Police served a failure to appear warrant on a 16-year-old male at a residence on Blair Circle.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

1:59 p.m. Police were notified of an abandoned vehicle on West Pickens Road just west of Hayden Road. The vehicle was towed by Erwin's Towing.

8 p.m. Police were notified by the on-duty manager at Sonic that the business had received a counterfeit $20 bill during a transaction. He also provided police with two other counterfeit $20 bills received in the previous month. The bills were picked up by a Secret Service agent.

Thursday, Feb. 19

12:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to a motor-vehicle accident on Richards Street involving a vehicle driven by Lexie Bradrick, 19, Pea Ridge, who said she backed into a parked vehicle. The registered owner of the parked vehicle was Charlie Brewer, Pea Ridge, who told police the vehicle was usually driven by his daughter. There were no citations issued.

1:43 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported a telephone scam.

9:27 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Tire regarding a theft of a battery charger and a 1/2-inch air impact, both taken sometime between Feb. 1-13 during business hours.
