Volunteers appreciated

Bright Futures would like to thank each of you who donated to our food pantry. We had many donations from individuals and families, as well as from Kevin Hall and his Walmart co-workers plus The Ridge Community Church.

"Thank you" does not begin to express our appreciation to each of you who gave. Your generosity is extremely appreciated.

A huge thank you also to the volunteers who help keep our store rooms in such great order. We could not do it without you!

Thank you very much for helping to make a difference!!

Pre-K available for 20 children

We are excited for the opportunity to begin a pre-kindergarten program beginning next school year. Over the next few weeks, the district will begin the licensing process, select a director and start remodeling. We will be very busy over the next few months, but the opportunity to make a difference for our students and their families is well worth the effort.

We are very fortunate to have qualified for a grant through the Endeavor Foundation. This three-year grant will provide funding for 20 children to attend at no cost. Certain criteria must be met to qualify for these spots.

We will also have 20 tuition based spots. These openings will require a weekly fee to attend and have no restrictions in who can apply for them.

We realize there will be a lot of questions to answer and information that needs to be relayed to parents. We will be posting information to the district website as quickly as possible. Our goal is to begin taking student applications April 1, 2015.

If you have any questions, please contact Keith Martin at 451-1819 or [email protected] . Please share this information with anyone in our community that may be interested.
