Tuesday, Feb. 3

1:41 p.m. While transporting a prisoner police observed Austin Gibson, 21, Pea Ridge, driving a vehicle and confirmed he had a suspended driver's license. Later, another police officer reported seeing him drive.

2:45 p.m. A resident of Weston Street reported a burglary in progress; police found no intruder and no evidence of a burglary.

Wednesday, Feb. 4

12:31 p.m. A resident of Zachary Street reported fraud.

Thursday, Feb. 5

3:56 a.m. Police responded to an alarm call at Pea Ridge Intermediate School.

2:25 p.m. A resident of St. Clair Street reported a large antique milk missing from his front porch.

5 p.m. Police were dispatched to Wright's Laundromat, North Curtis Avenue, to pick up a stray dog. A resident of the county claimed the dog on Feb. 6, saying it had been missing for a couple of days.

6:57 p.m. A resident of Centerton reported an unauthorized person had closed a bank account at Arvest Bank, Pea Ridge, belonging to a juvenile. The reporting party said $6,500 was stolen.

7:55 p.m. A resident of North Davis Street reported a large dog had "tried to attack his dog." Police were unable to locate the dog.

10:55 p.m. Police observed a male walking through an industrial/construction lot near Ark. Hwy. 72/It'll Do Road. Upon investigating, police learned that the male, Dalton Tyler Thomas, 18, Pea Ridge, was wanted on warrants from McDonald County, Mo., Sheriff's Office. He was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail to await extradition to Missouri.

Friday, Feb. 6

5:25 p.m. Police assisted in directing traffic around an area at Blackjack Corner on Ark. Hwy. 94 where a semi-trailer truck was jackknifed and blocking traffic. No citations were issued.

6:03 p.m. Police cited Timothy W. Wood, 23, Pea Ridge, for two counts of dog at large after a resident of Givens subdivision reported the dogs running loose and showed police a video of the two dogs in his backyard.

Saturday, Feb. 7

7:11 a.m. Police were dispatched to Autumn Home Care for a reckless driver complaint. The reporting party said an employee had arrived for work intoxicated, was told to leave and was getting in a vehicle to drive away. The suspect vehicle fled south on South Curtis Avenue then east on Sugar Creek Road, speeding up and not stopping for police. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Shawyn L. McNabb, 50, Rogers, for DWI and fleeing. She was cited for no insurance and failure to register a motor vehicle. She was booked into the Benton County Jail.
