Beta Alpha

Beta Alpha of ESA, International will be holding a membership drive for the Pea Ridge chapter, as well as a new chapter in the southwest Missouri area.

Painting with ESA is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge to learn more about the organization and how to get involved. Refreshments will be served.

Granny's Quilts of Love

Granny's Quilts of Love met at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, with 21 members in attendance and one guest, Cindy Johnson. The meeting was conducted by Donna Beaver; Joy Moore opened with a prayer.

The total number of quilts made and donated to the Arkansas Children's Hospital is 19,296 with 4,947 pillows and 2,459 caps/hats.

Patty Dial purchased 10 purple aprons online for $5 each. Anyone interested contact Patty.

Winona Woods went over the form ACH sent her stating the guidelines for the quilts. All of the quilts meet their requirements.

The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church located at 1300 N. Davis St. in Pea Ridge.

Members will be cutting quilt kits so be sure to bring scissors.
