Hannah Marie Sugar Cookies

From the kitchen of Grandma Louise Beard

1 c. margarine

1 c. oil

1 c. granulated sugar

1 c. powdered sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

5 c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cream of tartar

1 ts. soda

Combine margarine, oil, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Add rest of ingredients and place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. They should be only slightly brown on edges. Remove at once.

These are good to roll out and cut in shapes then ice for Valentines Day.
