Pea Ridge High School Colors Day ceremony for 2015 will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, in Blackhawk Gym. The ceremony will be followed by the senior boys game against Berryville, then the senior girls against Berryville.

Seven young ladies will vie for the crown. They were selected by members of the PRHS senior class.

Lindsey Bush, 17, will be escorted by Jarrin Paryzek. The daughter of Julie Bush, Miss Bush is a native of Joplin, Mo. She hopes to attend the University of Arkansas and earn a nursing degree. The 5'4" hazel-eyed, brown-haired young lady says she likes to be outdoors and write. She is a manager for the Blackhawk football team, is historian for the National Honor Society and is a member of the Book Club.

Mikhaela Cochran, 17, will be escorted by Zachary Davis. The daughter of Teresa and Dexter Cochran, Miss Cochran hopes to attend the University of Central Arkansas and study to become a physical therapist. The 5'9", blue-eyed, blonde-haired young lady says sports is her life. She plays volleyball, basketball, track and cross country. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Spanish Club.

Rilee Patrick, 17, will be escorted by Nick Hardy. The daughter of Sarah and Randy Patrick, Miss Patrick is a native of Pea Ridge. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith to become an elementary school teacher. The 5' 1/2", green-eyed, brown-haired young lady said she loves to play sports, especially volleyball. She is in the National Honor Socity and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, competes in volleyball, cross country and track and loves watching basketball and softball.

Kealy Skaggs, 17, will be escorted by Blake Sheppard. The daughter of Diane and Johnny Skaggs, Miss Bush is a native of Pea Ridge. The 5'3" green-eyed, blonde-haired young lady plans to attend Arkansas Tech and major in rehab disability and become an occupational therapist. She said she loves to be outside and be out on the lake. She is a member of the softball, basketball and cheer teams and the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Spanish Club. She is a member of First Baptist Church, Garfield.

Ashley Thielemier, 18, will be escorted by Dylan Roughton. The daughter of Karla and Phillip Thielemier, Miss Thielemier is a native of Pocahontas. The 4'10.5" green-eyed, brown-haired young lady plans to pursue a career in physical therapy. She said she loves to be outside with her family and loves sports. She is a member of NHS, FCCLA, basketball and softball. She attends St. Vincent DePaul in Rogers.

Gloria Vargas, 18, will be escorted by Ckristian Gamez. The daughter of Roberto Vargas and Michelle Mendoza, Miss Vargas is a native of Pea Ridge and the granddaughter of Bill and Susan Campbell. The 5'3.5" brown-eyed, black-haired young lady plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to become a physical therapist. She is president of the Spanish Club, a member of NHS and FCA, runs track and cross country and plays volleyball. She said she has a very loud and fun family.

Stephanie Wood, 17, will be escorted by Lance Buttry. The daughter of Robert and Jenny Wood, Miss Wood is a native of Pea Ridge and granddaughter of Tim and Sharon Wood of Pea Ridge and Steven and Jackie Rogers. The 5'5" brown-eyed, brown-haired young lady plans to attend Crowder College and become a nurse. She is involved in volleyball, softball, NHS, FCA and Community Service Club. She attends New Life Fellowship and First Baptist churches of Pea Ridge. She said she likes to be with her family.
