Pea Ridge Lady Blackhawks 85, Omaha Eagles 74

Jennifer Anthony had the hot hand with 37 points Saturday and led Pea Ridge past Omaha during first-round action in the Southwest Holiday Classic in Southwest City, Mo.

Maggie Fletcher added 18 and Allie Whatley 12 for the Lady Blackhawks (5-5), who will play Galena, Kan., in a 3:30 p.m. semifinal game Monday.

Pea Ridge Blackhawks 68, Exeter, Mo., Tigers 11

Bryce Beckmann led a trio of Pea Ridge players in double figures Saturday as the Blackhawks cruised to a win over Exeter, Mo., in first-round play at the Southwest Holiday Classic.

Joey Hall and Westin Church added 10 points apiece for the Blackhawks, who will play either Southwest City, Mo., or Cassville, Mo., in a 6:30 p.m. semifinal game Monday.

Lady Blackhawks 49, Galena Bears 43

The Lady Blackhawks defeated Galena by 8 points Monday afternoon and were slated to take on Southwest Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Pea Ridge Blackhawks 56, Cassville, Mo., Wildcats 25

Joey Hall and Britton Caudill each had 14 points as Pea Ridge rolled past Cassville and advanced to the championship game of the Southwest Holiday Classic.

The Blackhawks (9-3) were set to play the Forsythe, Mo., Panthers in the title game, which takes place at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
