Thanks to the members of the Library Board for handling the decorating of the library for Christmas. They did an outstanding job and everything looks quite festive. I hope you have marked your calendars for Tuesday, Dec. 15, for the Library Open House. Drop by anytime between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. for light refreshments.
I hope you were able to see the Christmas Parade Saturday evening. There is nothing like a hometown parade.

Congratulations are also in order for Kelsey D'Ann Parmenter, Miss Rodeo Arkansas, for winning the Raeana Wadhams Spirit Award at the 2016 Miss Rodeo America competition in Las Vegas this weekend. We're looking forward to your visit to the library when your schedule allows.
Need an expensive gift for a friend or co-worker? There a limited number of our cookbooks available for only $5 each. There are many gently used books by Nicholas Sparks, Stuart Woods, James Patterson, etc. available for sale for under $5 each. Some are even first editions.
We have had some very good books and a few DVDs donated recently and we are very appreciative. DVDs are very popular in the library now.
We should soon have some new books on the shelves.
