Book signing Saturday
Bella Vista author Carol Cherry Anderson will be signing her new book, "Love Lights on Monterey Bay" at the Trolley Line Book Store in Rogers from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. The book is the final book in a trilogy about military families from 1941 until 2001, she said. It was inspired by true stories of ordinary people with added elements of faith and encouragement, she explained.
Anderson will have some copies of the first two books in the series, as well as the new book to sign on Saturday.
"Take Your Child to a Bookstore Day is Dec. 5," Trolley Line owner Myra Moran said. She's celebrating with special prices on children's books.
The book store is open in the historic district of Rogers at 110 W. Walnut St.
